Since the "Do you WANNA Jam?!" game jam submissions were due, I have been making the game more balanced and overall better to play! Here are just some of the changes that were made.
Some Bug Fixes
- "Buy and sell" infinite money hack has been fixed (lol).
- "Game Over" screen and animation doesn't infinitely loop anymore.
Some Updates
- NEW particle effects for damage and kills!
- Added shake effect when pathogens start spawning genomes.
- Added more feedback when killing genomes (vfx and sfx!).
- Nucleus stays centered and does not move anymore (was kind of annoying to deal with in the late game).
- A popup that shows how much DNA you get for a kill.
- Player now earns extra points for overkill (when an enemy takes more damage than necessary on death).
- White Blood Cells (WBCs) target enemies closest to the cell rather than themselves.
- Range visual appears when placing down new WBCs.
